"i never will forget those nights, i wonder if it was a dream"--the ataris (don henley)

hola mi amigos...

yeah well..it's almost the last day of hispanic heritage month, thought i'd throw a bit of salsa-ness in there! speakin of salsa, gulley and i had a good conversation about latin dancing, apparently he joined the latin dance society his freshmen year, but he claims to have forgotten it all..haha, i told him to try to go to a latin club up here...wouldn't that be way fun? gotta throw the latina hips into action..haha, right.

today, i spent way too long at barnes & noble trying to find a book on surrealism for my paper, i found none of the ones i wanted, you'd think the B&N on 5th ave would have a lot of books...note to self: it doesn't, it's pretty lame ...i bought 2, but i'm going to return on because it sucks, and i didn't even use it as a source...magically i ended up with 5 sources which was cool. it wasn't that great of a paper, but i feel like i can make up for it with my next 2, i was just so lost..iv'e never had to write a paper for joe's class, and i don't know what he expects...apparently i've done well in the other class we have...but who knows? also, i need to get on my screenplay...ahhh, and internship journals are due friday, luckily that is one thing i have been keeping up with! thank the Lord.

2 older guys were being really stupid at B&N, looking at the nude art photography books and laughing, i'm like, how OLD are you? 12?? (they must have been at LEAST 40!) anyways, so that was awkward, becasue i'm just looking for scott mutter's surrealist photography and they're like making fun of a picture of a flower or something that represents something else...geez...then on the way home, apparently everyone and their brother was going home as well, and the streets were jammed with cars and wrecks everywhere..it was the first time i had to weave through cars to get where i needed to go...i wasn't scared because everyone was just at a stand-still, good thing.

pizza for pre-dinner, class, and then mcdonalds with lauren, lindsey and blitch...wheeeee....joe played some impressionist music by debussy in class today, it reminded me of when i was attempting to learn how to play "clair de lune"...i loved that song and it was so hard to play, i loved the challenge..when i go home, i'm going to play some piano i think...

tomorrow? work, maybe a yankees game ? who knows? it's only $8...and free hat night or something weird. otherwise...i'll try to do something else interesting..we watched "eternal sunshine" tonight, ...so i've watched in 2x in 24 hours..geez. great movie though...

peace out
